It is known as the calendar lake as it is 365 miles in length from north to south and 52 miles wide. Under African Parks management since 2003, Majete has different species of animals in addition to the big five such as Zebras, Bush pigs, Impala. On the unique part of it, you can also find giraffes lingering around.
